RAF Tornado air intake chair and adjustable foot extension.

Red mesh cover is a tornado engine running cover which is included in sale, can be modified as an outside cover for the intake to be used outside .

This intake was first commissioned by the RAF in 1983 and in use until 2016
It has been used and flown with.

Here SCA we have sympatheticly converted this intake into a bespoke chair.
There will be no other one like this.
The chair itself has had a supportive base installed,this has a removable access panel to space for storage underneath.
This area also houses the adjustable Led lights.
Lights are controlled by an app for your android or apple phone.
They also work with Amazon Alexa
The chair sits on adjustable heavy duty feet, and sit inside aluminium floor protectors.
The seat is thickly padded and fits snuggly and is removable to access the space beneath.
The back is padded for comfort.
These panels are velcroed on and are removable or Interchangeable.
Modifications to size and colour is available, I'm happy to discuss requirements.
The paintwork is all original, very small minor marks have been paint corrected.
The paint has been sealed with 2 coats of Matt lacquer to maintain it's patina .
It is very rare to find these Intakes in such a condition,as this has been recently overhauled before it's decomision.
You may see other renditions of these for sale that have subsequently painted .
Destroying it's history .
The chair also has the correct port side navigation light in green .
Again a rare item.
It has been converted to work with the supplied led lights
The adjustable foot extension is made from titanium Tornado wing slat guides.
All fittings extra additions are stainless steel or chromed,
The seat design mirrors the seat on the intake also.
Adjustments in height are made by lifting the extension to required height on a multi click system.
Everything has been bespoke made and altered with a great deal of craftsmanship and above all to design a beautiful piece of art which will last a lifetime.
